My wife call to my attention a show Larry King did with Steven Hawkins the other day and other Religious speakers concerning "the grand design" I had to smile thinking, is this a spinoff of the study Kepler had done.I got mad respect for hawkins and his new book ,but this isnt nothing new .cause if you get into keplers work which he has done. you see a similar copycat of what Steven hawkins is trying to bring .if one research kepler then one would see keplers work.I am truly humble gratefull to be living in a place where most of the great scholars have studied which gives me a chance to truly research and go to the area in the physical and trully see, feel and touch the elements.Stevens Hawkins book "The Grand Design" and keplers book "The Harmony of the World" quote from kepler

I undertake to prove that God, in creating the universe and regulating the order of the cosmos, had in view the five regular bodies of geometry as known since the days of Pythagoras and Plato, and that he has fixed according to those dimensions, the number of heavens, their proportions, and the relations of their movements. also if one gets into "Pythagoras" which who founded a brotherhood known as Pythagoreans.

They did not wear clothing made of wool, eat meat or beans, touch a white rooster, stir a fire with iron, or leave marks of ashes on a pot. New initiates were required to take a vow of silence for three years.

Pythagoreans worshiped numbers as the fundamental basis of all reality

ears. They devoted themselves to arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy. They conceptualized these disciplines as experiential conduits into universal harmony. Rigorous study would promote spiritual resonance with the universe and escape from the cycle of rebirth .only difference in stevens book and keplers book is hawkins talks about living in outerspace.
