The Book of Genesis
1. In the beginning, there was a void. This seemed rather suspicious, as if this were indeed the case, there would also be no-one there to record it's presence, or lack thereof. So "poof" goes the Big Bang Theory. So, let's roll this again.
2. In the beginning, the world was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move. Since then, many have been looking for who was responsible and the guilty party is often referred to as "God" or "The Creator", the only hint of His true identity being an ancient note to one of his followers simply stating "I am who I am" - a piece of information that has not been of great value in pinning him down for a subpoena.
Various rewards for finding Him have been hinted at, including "Eternal Life", "Heaven" and in some cultures, 72 virgins - although it is not clear whether these are actually of the female variety.
3. Due to various conflicting viewpoints on all this, scientists have postulated the existence of parallel universes. The first thing that needs to be understood is that these are not actually universes nor, in fact, are they strictly parallel either. In fact, the whole of this, together with everyone watching, is now generally termed the ATI or "All That Is". If the truth be known however, the ATI doesn't exist either, and simply represents the sum total of all the ways of looking at it if it did.
The Book of Michael
Michael, son of Manfred, was a lowly but humble network administrator in the 21st century, living in poverty with only a very used copy of WindowsXP and a HP laptop computer held together with bandaids.
Nevertheless, he was able to formulate TEN GREAT COMMANDMENTS, which, if followed with all one's heart, all one's mind and all one's soul, may result in a half-decent Alexa Website Ranking.
ONE. Thou shalt Love the Lord thy <insert appropriate deity>. But don't forget that LOVE is the true source of all things, even indecent exposure lawsuits.
TWO. Thou shalt not harm or cause to suffer any living creature. (Politicians not included.)
THREE. Thou shalt not steal without a minimum 25 page License Agreement or Statement of Terms and Conditions that people can conveniently ignore and just click on "I agree".
FOUR. Remember the Sabbath day. For six days, you can labour in Facebook, but on the Seventh day, you may ONLY post blogs and share stuff in OV.
FIVE.Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour, even in Facebook.
SIX.Thou shalt not commit adultery, certainly not while anyone is looking or unless your partner likes to watch.
SEVEN.Thou shalt not worship any idols or graven images, even clipart or high resolution jpg's.
EIGHT.Thou shalt not covert thy neighbours copy of Windows7, nor his BMW, his iPhone, his bar fridge, his Visa Card, widescreen TV, bull terrier, girlfriends or Twitter account.
NINE.Thou shalt not kill unless you can do it legally and get lots of LIKES on your page. (Politicians not included.)
TEN.Thou shalt not be an idiot, act like a dickwad, do really dumb things or make people cry (Politicans not included).
The Book of Google.
1. "Search and ye shall find"
2. But don't forget to use quotes in your search unless you want a whole heap of results that have little to do with what you are looking for.
The Book of Love
If you have sought long and hard for that which is truly *worth* serving, then you will have likely come to the understanding that Love is the Supreme Being - the Creator of all things. The Mastery of Life requires a sincere, complete and total belief in LOVE as being the answer to all questions and the solution to all problems - the only "rational act".
Our world appears different to each of us. A homeless man may view the world as unfair, ungrateful, hard and tough and the people in it as unloving, uncaring and cruel but a successful person may view the universe as a wonderful place full of luxury and pleasure and the people in it as loving, caring, thoughtful and kind.
Both of them are viewing the same world, it is just different because of their perceptions of it and their life experiences. These are mutually dependent; one's experiences depend on their perceptions and beliefs and one's beliefs depend on their experiences.
Experience cannot be changed, however one's beliefs about those experiences can. How you perceive the world is how the world IS to you.
Belief is what brings things into creation. Look at anything that anyone has ever created and you will see that it was brought into reality by belief. Look at any aspect of anyone's life situation and it becomes apparent that they find themselves in that situation because of their beliefs.
Take the simple and common experience of losing one's job. A person who has a negative belief structure or outlook (pessimist) will view it as a disaster and their future bleak and but a postive person (optimist) will see it as meaning that there is just something better awaiting them and look forward to the future. Both their futures depend on how they choose to view the events of the past and their attitude in the Now.
Because the pessimist does not acknowledge the possibility of something better around the corner, he will assume that he must now settle for something less - perhaps ANY job - he will then go about bringing that into his life. An even more pessimist person may even start to believe that they are incapable of holding down a job, or perhaps that that there is no point in even looking for one.
An optimist however, will see things very differently. He will look upon his situation as a chance to further improve his life. He will not be as easily discouraged and set about to seek another job - perhaps even a better one. Someone even more optimistic may realise that they have been wasting their time and talents in the old job and decide that they are actually capable of attaining a much better one. They will view the whole incident as the universe actually helping them to achieve it. The difference in these attitudes is brought about by the choice fear or Love.
Believe in fear enough and that is what life will bring you. Conversely, believe in Love enough and life will bring you that. This is important to understand.
It can be difficult, though, to change one's beliefs. If one has had a life full of misfortune and unhappiness, accustomed to fear and having little experience of the Power of Love, then it is difficult for him to believe that Love can change things.
In the end, Love boils down to simple, unselfish service - to oneself and others. But it is a hopeless task to endeavour to prove to another who has never felt it, the existence and reality of Infinite Love, to say nothing of its power to fill and round out the life that has yielded to its power. It is all the more difficult because it is one of those strange, sweet secrets between God and man that can never be imparted to another by words, for no human language contains terms by which it may be expressed.
Love is the only medium through which our eyes an see clearly. Hate distorts, magnifies or belittles. Passion blinds. True Love throws open the portals of the Soul and permits the lover to behold all that is unlovely as well as that which is pure and beautiful by means of the power to classify, to correctly distinguish between that which is transient and that which is eternal in the life of the beloved and to give to each its true value.
But how little is this true love understood, disguised under the terms of so called attributes.
You may catch a tithe of its splendour through the windows of a glorious sunset. You may catch the sound of a note of its depths of harmony in the roll of the great ocean, and a hint of its peace on the dead face of the friend you have laid away to await the resurrection; and when your inner senses have opened, and the wondrous reality bursts upon the vision of your soul, the last great analysis will prove there is nothing else left.
Many people have a distorted view of what Love really is - usually due to the loss of someone or something they loved dearly or the realisation that who or what they thought they loved turned out to be something different but it was not Love itself that was at fault - but a misunderstanding of that to which the love was directed.
Love is the most powerful force in the universe - it is the force of attraction.
But we often get burnt because we do not understand how this energy works. People often curse love because they think it brought them pain or suffering, but these people are like the small child who reaches into a fire because it is pretty. It takes some intelligence to understand. To those who say they do not believe in love, I would ask is there NOTHING in their lives that they love ? - ABSOLUTELY nothing ? I think not. (Besides, if anyone *was* this miserable, then I don't think I'd want anything to do with them - would you ?)
Love is the reason behind all of Creation. It is the only thing what makes life worth living. It also what makes life worth dying for.
Love does not reward the unbeliever because the unbeliever does not radiate the force of attraction that would bring to them what they desire. Doubt is the obstacle. Faith is the key. When you have faith enough to ask for EXACTLY what you want, give NO thought as to HOW it can possibly happen AND start living your life as though the wish has already been granted, then you are more likely to get EXACTLY what you ask for. But the moment you begin to doubt that it CAN, you sabotage yourself, because you rob Love of the very power it needs to do the job.
Typical case; a person might wish for something and when it doesn't appear straight away, they will say "See, it's all rubbish! - it's not true" - but did they REALLY believe it was going to happen ?
Now this does not mean that the trick to getting a million dollars is just to believe it is going to happen. Love is intelligent and will not give itself to someone who is hell-bent on self-gratification by material means. The money would much more likely appear if it was needed for a good reason, but people rarely wish such a thing for any other reason but their own greed.
You will often find that the quickest way of getting something is to lose even the desire for it and replacing it with a Higher one.
Ask anyone who believes and they will tell you that all this is absolutely true, but ask anyone else who doesn't believe and they will tell you it's not - if that isn't enough proof in itself, then I don't know *what* is ;-)
Jesus said "Ask and ye shall receive" - and for a very good reason. That is the way the universe works. It has NOTHING to do with "religion", in fact religion just gets in the way. So does not realising that God IS Love.
It is not commonly known, but it is only prayers preceded by the phrase "Not my will, but Thine be done", winged on an unselfish love, asking TO Love, as opposed to those asking FOR Love, that CAN be answered.
Love begets Love - or to put it another way, Love is sufficient unto Love.
Love can transform ones life in ways that can seem miraculous.
One of the most exciting things is talking to people who have always known it, but never actually put it into practice. It brings an enormous sense of satisfaction to see others change their lives and change the lives of others.
This IS the Game of Life and LOVE is the rule. It's THAT simple.
Either play by the rule or perish.
If you really want your life to change, then you just need to think of what it is that would make you REALLY happy - what would really EXCITE you.... image it in your mind - FEEL it as though it were already there. Then ask for it and KNOW in your heart that you will get it. Of course, you will have to make positive moves to make a place for it in your life.
The next step is to put aside any notion of HOW it will happen and just start preparing for when it does.
By doing this, you will move yourself closer to your goal and your goal closer to you.
After that, it is just a matter of persistence, by remembering to choose Love in every moment, instead of fear..
It is worthwhile noting that the time you most feel like giving up on something is usually just before it is about to happen.
There are hundreds of articles about the subject of personal growth, achievement and success on the internet, in books and on video. But few of them will make it clear that LOVE is the source of all things.
So go out there and Love like you've never loved before! - Spread the Message - !

and much Gratitude

The Book of Mind
"The quality of your life is dependent on the quality of your thinking"
In a sense, it could be said that "you are what you do", therefore, if you are spending effort and time "just trying to make ends meet", then you will become just another person "trying to make ends meet".
Conversely, if you spend a lot of time doing healthy things, you will become a healthy person.
All this may sound obvious, but how many times have you considered that you can immediately begin to improve the quality of your life by improving the *quality* of your thinking ?
What IS "high quality thinking" ?
"Why do I feel so bad/sad/unhappy/depressed/rotten ?" is a LOW quality thought.
Firstly, it is in the form of a question and therefore begs an answer and the only POSSIBLE answer can be:
reasons why you feel bad/etc. Do you really need reasons to feel bad ?
Secondly, it focuses more energy into the current state instead of into an area that could improve matters.
"Lord, please help me to always do the best for all concerned" is a HIGH quality thought, firstly because it indicates that one's attention is focused into an area which will not only benefit oneself but will also be for the good of all others and secondly, because it is in the form of a request to the universe which, if answered, can only enhance the current state even more.
In between, there are many, may levels of relative quality of thinking.
What and HOW you think has a profound effect on your life circumstances - in fact, it is DIRECTLY dependent!
Your actions directly reflect what you think and therefore, the quality of your thinking (though not the content) is visible and apparent to all. If you believe in miracles, for instance, you will be seen to do things which imply that 'you believe in miracles'.
High quality thinking means putting your thought energy to use in an area which will benefit you and everyone around you the most. If your thinking does not satisfy both conditions, then you are EFFECTIVELY either being of detriment to yourself OR to others.
INTROSPECTION is the practice of examining your own thoughts and investigating WHY you think them.
Your reaction to that thought can be one of four types:
That it will be:
1. Of benefit to you AND everyone else
2. Of benefit to you but not to others
3. Of benefit to others but not to you
4. Of benefit to no-one.
So in every moment you have the option to make a choice between fear and Love. Only the first action is Love - the other three are all fear-based.
When you choose fear, you react to the thought in a way which is either not in your best interests or that of others - or worse, both!
When you choose Love, you choose your reaction to the thought to be one that will benefit YOU the most AS WELL as everyone else.
If you are "in a rut", you will need to first ask yourself WHY you are doing what you are doing. Then, after having established the honest answers, you can work on the thoughts that are responsible for creating this situation.
As soon as you change any aspect of your thinking for the better, you will immediately accrue more *energy*.
If you feel you are in a state where "nothing just seems to go right", then the way out is to change your thinking so that the situation is reversed ie. "nothing just seems to go wrong".
"Alignment with your true purpose" is the measure of your quality of thinking. You will find that the more "in-alignment" you are with your real, potential purpose, the more everything around you will seem to be "conspiring to help you". What benefits the ALL benefits the individual, so when an individual assists the ALL, they are effectively benefiting themselves as well.
When one is in alignment, everything that happens is just MORE good news.
Hence the old saying "The quickest way to solve your own problems is to help others solve theirs". This is higher quality thinking than thinking purely about oneself, as this is the type of thinking that led to the situation in the first place.
If one can manage to put aside the illusion that we are all separate, it is easier to understand from the standpoint that not only are WE all One but that ALL is One as well. Each of us is intricately connected to everyone and everything else.
The highest quality thought I have found so far is this:
"I want to reveal the Glory of the Creator to All"
If "introspected", this thought can be seen to be very high quality because its intent is pure, it is focused into the most beneficial area possible for one's own development and growth and it automatically implies the necessity to first find out and then KNOW what they Love in order to show it to others..
"Look at what is troubling you and you will only find things you shouldn't be doing"
Remember that it might be a case of something you SHOULD be doing, just not THERE, or just not NOW, for instance - the statement still applies
The transmutation of your thoughts IS the transmutation of your life.
There are many tools with which to assist this process:
1. Introspection (examining thoughts and validating/invalidating them)
2. Lateral Thinking (coming up with alternate solutions)
3. MirrorLogic ("benefiting from your mistakes BEFORE you make them")
4. Meditation (clearing the mind of unwanted thoughts and/or concentrating attention in the NOW, on the ALL.
5. Personal Inventory (Don Juan/Carlos Castenedas method of appraising ones true situation)
6. The Art of Powerful Questions ("change your questions - change your life")
7. The Art of Dreaming (Don Juan/Carlos Castenedas method of manifestation through dreams)
8. "Small Steps" (the practice of breaking down an insurmountable task into smaller, achievable tasks.
9. Positive Affirmations (which replace negative thoughts)
10. Listening to positive, empowering, uplifting music
11. The TV remote control. (Use the "Off Button)
12. The Internet (an endless supply of information, help and assistance)
13. Self-auditing (“Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a truth”)
14. Cast off your burden of attachment to results!
Higher - Quality thinking is useful in changing ALL aspects of one's life.
An it all begins with an awareness of LOVE.
The Book of the ONE.
This is a clear proof of the old adage "as above, so below"
The structure of a brain cell is the same as the entire universe.
"Oh God, guide me, protect me; make of me a shining lamp and a brilliant star." -- Abdu’l-Bahá
We ARE reflections of the very process we seek to understand... The Universe is starting to look like a holographic fractal!
So, by changing yourself, you change the universe! - you ARE the Creator.
Only as high as I reach can I grow.
Only as far as I seek can I go,
Only as deep as I look can I see,
Only as much as I dream can I be.
The Book of Evidence
A useful exercise is to do a rigorous self examination to determine what HAS created success for you in the past.
It is all too easy to become pre-occupied with all the ways one has FAILED, but not so easy to remember the times one has succeeded and HOW it happened.
If the Law of Attraction is investigated carefully in these instances, it will be seen to be composed of many parts.
If you reverse-engineer a success back to it's source, you will find that it was born out of a mixture of thoughts, feelings and attitudes - that is, at some point, it was NOT in existence on the physical plane, only having form in the plane of mind.
One VERY important stage is the actual manifestation "out of the very aether" of the thing desired.
To assist the process of manifestation, TAKE NOTE OF THE EVIDENCE.
I would like a website for (insert whatever)......
I learned how to make this website with html
I now own a domain for my webiste
The website was made and uploaded.
I made a nice graphic for the front page
It started to attract members
This week, we got 40 new members
Visits to the website are increasing
I had 16 great responses to my blog last week...
What I’m doing is collecting EVIDENCE that supports the existence of my idea. If I add one new piece of evidence every day, then a month later, I will have 30 new pieces of evidence that the story is true.
Where the mind goes, energy follows. It is hard, in many examples, to say exactly at what point the thing MANIFESTED as it's process of manifestation is gradual and evolving. It is YOU who "draw" it out of the ether by the power of attention. If you sustain this attention long enough, the thing desired will appear.
DOCUMENT the process - IMMERSE yourself in it. Wrap it around you like a blanket of Joy and give it life.
YOU ARE The Creator and the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
The Book of Perception
Have you ever noticed that when you are excited about something or you are doing something you enjoy very much, your normal worries and concerns seem to fade away ? Sometimes, you may even forget about physical matters such as health problems, ailments or symptoms.
Conversely, when you are bored, tired, angry or just plain "not feeling yourself", every little niggling thing seems to grab your attention ?
If your attention is focused on your sore back, you may well find it difficult to laugh at that funny TV show or pay much heed to your friend on the phone who is trying to share their excitement over having won a scrabble competition.
Likewise, if you have just met a new partner and are all worked up because you get to spend tonight with them in a swanky hotel room, you probably won't be too upset about the fact that your washing machine has broken down or that you have a speeding fine that is now overdue - things that would normally make you curse, swear or, at the least, "bring you down."
Your focus of attention is very important.
But because you are the subject of your emotions, feelings and thoughts, you may not always realise what you are focused on and that it may not be the best thing for you. It only becomes apparent when your attention is lifted and suddenly you realise that you haven't thought about your sore back for the past six hours because during that time, you were thinking about what you were going to do with the $10,000 you just won in lotto.
Many examples abound but the basic mechanism is this:
When your attention is focused on a "higher" level - ie. on something that empowers, excites or gladdens you, matters to do with the "lower" levels fall below the threshold of perception.
The opposite applies too;
When your attention is focused on "lower" considerations of pain, misery, depression or just how rotten your luck is, matters of a "higher" level - ie. how beautiful today's sunrise was or giving thanks to God for a new day rise above your threshold of perception.
Where your mind is focused largely determines your mood, outlook and the nature of your thoughts.
Your whole day, for instance, can be lifted by making a positive affirmation in the morning. This is not just something that applies to YOU only. When you are happy, it tends to make other people happier and when they are happier, this feeds your happiness. (This is sometimes called "The Ripple Effect".)
Positive affirmations, though they are only thoughts and words, can have a marked effect on your sense of being. The unconscious mind is non-judgemental. It does not distinguish between thoughts that are "bad" and thoughts that are "good" for you. It is like a computer - it will just as readily accept a virus as a funny video and act upon or process its contents. YOU decide what your unconscious mind is fed by your thoughts, words and deeds.
Now here is the important part:
What falls below your level of CONSCIOUS awareness is handled, 'processed' or 'taken care of' by your UNCONSCIOUS (or subconscious). When you are happy, for instance, you do not worry about whether your heart will keep beating or give your attention to making your bowels move. These biological processes are handled AUTOMATICALLY by your subconscious.
If however, you are lying in a hospital bed, having been told that your stomach cancer has now spread to your abdomen and chest, you may well be VERY concerned about your heart continuing to beat or whether your bowels will function next time you need them to.
The lower your attention falls, the more these unconscious matters become a concern and vice-versa.
You will find that excitement is empowering and actually improves your health. Depression, feeling sorry for your self and so on are, conversely, bad for your heath.
Don Juan was always chastising his student Carlos Casteneda for "endulging" - letting his "monkey mind" rule him and deciding how he should confront and handle the curious situations that his master put to him. Don Juan posited "The Five-Phase Progression":
Control, Discipline, Timing, Forbearance and Will.
The cultivation of these qualities or 'virtues' is paramount if one is become the "warrior" that one seeks to be - one able to ride over the waves of misfortune that frequently confront us in our daily lives and one able to keep their sights focused on matters of a higher nature..
Step outside yourself for a moment - "exteriorize" - become an observer of your own thoughts and particularly of where your focus of attention is.
There is only one question you need ask yourself:
Are your thoughts centered on the misery of your present circumstances and escape from them or is your attention on becoming more of the wonderful individual that you are ?
Beware of that "monkey-mind" ! - it will ALWAYS lead you astray! It will use "logic" to dampen your spirits and sway you from seeking the magic that you so desperately desire.
Truly, magic CAN happen, but only if your mind is "up to it" :-)
