I had a good Lucid dream last night.  I was lucid for at least an hour.  Although i cant remember a lot of it, because i had to jump up and go to work.  But I do remember that i worked out a problem i have been having during dreams when i attempt to fly up through ceilings.  Usually I fly up as fast as i can and try to bust through it.  And I usually fail, and bounce off the ceiling and back down to the floor.  This time i tried it, and bounced off again 2x.  the third time i decided that i would float up slowly, while telling myself that it was not real and i can pass through it.  that time it worked, and i slowly and gently pushed through as if it was not even there.  So I will probably do it that way from now on.  I am glad to have worked through that, because it was really bugging me that i would fail most attempts.

Also, i experienced a strange state where I was aware of my body and still dreaming at the same time. This has happening to me before, but but for shorter periods.  That usually causes me to wake up, or lose lucidity.  this time I was able to maintain awareness of both my body, my dream, and stay lucid in my dream.  A very cool feeling, but also weird and trippy.  I knew that I was starting to wake up, and i was holding on to the dream and willed myself to stay awake.  While falling back totally asleep, i went into a strange sort of limbo.  Everything was black, and i felt as if I was inside a womb.  Then i was back in the dream world.

Thanks for listening everyone.  I hope my experiences can help to improve your dreams as well.  I am getting better and better all the time, after many years of struggling just to remember my dreams.  And only rarely becoming lucid for only very short periods.  I had almost given up completely, but now it is like i have had a breakthrough, and the improvements just keep coming faster and faster.

Comments and questions are welcome and encouraged.  I love talking about this stuff, and hope I can help others to enjoy this also.

thank you for your comments, it is nice to hear that your dreams are progressing as you are intending.  do you try to have recuring themes, or do you think of a place and the scene folds out as you go through it? would like to know, appreciate your time, have a great day.

I repeat the same tasks every time I become lucid, but after that I just just let the dream take its course and follow along. So I guess at least the beginning of my dreams are recurring. I don't think of certain places, only certain actions. It is much easier that way. Going to specific places is something I would like to work on. That could take some practice.

Thank you for your suggestions, i am going to have to practice as well, sweet dreams!
