Well, I Iive in Las Vegas (Sin-City) and have done so for the past twenty years. I'm a California transplant from Los Angeles 18-19 years in the Golden State, and no i don't miss it one bit.
Vegas is a different world compared to living anywhere else, There's always something to do and someone to screw, that's the mantra by the way. This is a Gaming town where every vice you could possibly want you can get. And that's the problem with Vegas besides the cold heartless bastards that work and play here, the addicts, dealers and every other condition of the human factor. Sprinkled amongst the carnage are some really incredible people who cast such a bright light that drowns out the neon glare, and illuminates that which is most special in all of us.
Now you might call me a cynical person but imagine if you will, being a true empath in such an environment. Now try walking thru a casino full of greed and want, and not to mention the psychic energy such places create. I've always been intune so to speak with peoples feelings on the magnified level , i get mental images of places and events as well as feeling what emotions where present at that time of said event. And if that wasn't to much to bear, i've always had the ability to read objects too,( not as good as a friend i know who could tell you who touched the object last, but in my case what was the feeling of the owner of said object)
Yes we as humans tend to leave more than finger prints on things we touch. My Friend and I worked hard-count in a casino several years ago, what a adventure that was handling all that coin Ha! its a wonder we didn't go insane! I had to learn how to tune out and get a hold of my abilities before they got the better of me. I've always been a musician, and have found that i could project REALLY project my emotions in the music i created. The perfect outlet for an empath to have. God gives us abilites that go hand in hand sometimes. I've been playing music since i was 5years old . 34 years later i still play bass guitar in a rock band , just a weekend warrior now as my day job eats up a lot of time. I don't like to talk much about work too damn depressing.
