Illusion. The story of dragonfly that once he was a dragon who was a shape shifter and had a strong ego. Coyote, forever the trickster challenged dragon and had him switch from one form to another, over and over again, so much that when asked to turn into an insect, he could not turn back. Dragonfly is the symbol of the illusion of the ego, that we are not what we perceive ourselves to be. The many facets of light on the dragonfly wings represents our own many facets of our being.
