Ever since Whole mentioned that looking into water, reflects a lot of what you put into it, back into you, and that the matrix introduced toilets instead of giving waste back to nature, it had me thinking what else do toilets not do naturally.
Squatting, if you sit at right angles you are putting pressure on your body it shouldn't have naturally.
I wanted to list a few links for you, as i know its a smelly subject ;) and we are conditioned/programmed to find it embarrassing to talk about, but if you are suffering (as millions of people in America alone are) or want to prevent future cycles of discomfort, here are a few answers:
Colitis, Appendicitis, Colon Cancer, Hemorrhoids and Constipation are related to posture not just diet. It make sense, that by making an artificial right angle the body would be forced into a less natural position, so I did some research on this topic. In natural cultures and in studies of many tribal cultures even today, many of these conditions we have don't exist in anywhere near the same percentage numbers, as they, as we used to, squat in a natural position.
Here is a great further resource from a natural remedies site, and a product you can buy.

Here was the first video of another product you can buy to help fix the situation, also footstools work reasonably well, some people use footpads.
I am putting this here also as Yoga benefits this area of your natural life greatly, getting rid of the waste (waist too as you'll find if you practice it.)
Even universities state this now, and I've found a few medical journals listing it

Hopefully this will prevent or cure some people's discomfort, thank you for reading

Also a note is it removes more toxins from the body at once when in the correct posture, decreasing the amount other organs have to deal with, an important note I just found out :). Especially if you are looking to wake up refreshed, you want to ease the burden on your body as a whole.
Mark,
I love your posts. They're always so helpful. I noticed when we were were travelling around S E Asia that I was definitely better off on squat toilets even though all other Westerners we encountered just couldn't see the value.
I didnt get it. They thought it was somehow dirty because you had to wash yourself after going to the toilet instead of smearing the proverbial over yourself with tissue!
But I never felt better in the 6 months we were there and I attribute some of it to where we were the spirituality, the beauty, the jungle, the food but also those wonderful squatt toilets. I always laugh to my husband that when we have our own home that I will have my own personal one, complete with little shower head next to it! I actually use a toilet roll holder to put my feet on here and didnt even know why I was doing it. I thought it was cos the toilet was too high. Clearly there is also another reason.
So thank you for that!
Hannah
Mark,
Thank you for posting this and all the others. I gained very valuable information from it. Although, I still think that diet and natural fiber are very important for bowel and colon health, the squatting position for elimination makes perfect sense. How could it not, in light of the pictoral evidence?
Love and Respect, Taylor
I am happy it helped you both :) I am liking learning these practical applications to combat conditions, it is a big world out there when knowledge is shared! Thank you for letting me know about that area of Asia it may help in the future.
I'd like to add that of course posture will affect the internal organs but usually a weak core will lead to some form of compensation via back muscles and hence chronic back pain. I am currently using an exercise ball as my computer chair. It works great and allows for the use of the core and I would recommend it be used to anyone who sits in front of a computer.
