It seems that discussions of accomplishment center on power. I would like to suggest that power, in and of itself, is worth little or nothing. I would further suggest that authority, whether inherent personal authority or delegated authority, is much more important than power.

Power is simply the use of force to accomplish something. All actions are accomplished by some form of force. But, how is one authorized to use force and under what circumstances?

I would suggest that the SOURCE of all authority is beyond good and evil as neither good or evil could exist and act unless they were authorized to do so and both good and evil have equal access to authority. This would explain why good can overcome evil, at times, and why evil can overcome good at times. It is a matter of which is exercising the more proper or lawful authority to use force. An inferior or unlawful authority will usually be defeated.

A delegated authority would be that which one perceives to be allowed or given by what one considers a higher being such as a god or devil. It is an under-standing. A broad path. To an adept this is a quick kill on the battle field.

An inherent personal authority is that which one considers to be a natural attribute or component of one's self. It is a relative-standing. It may or may not be sufficient to the task at hand. A more narrow path, but not necessarily straight.

This is as far as I will take the subject at this time except to say that actual righteousness comes into play from this point on.

I would like to know how you see it.

"...desire and lust of this world,"

I am not sure what that has to do with authority to exercise force.

"...set yourself free from the evil that eats you away from within. . . ."

I'm not actually having a problem with that.
In the first paragraph I stated what appears, to me, to be a common occurrence. I then made two suggestions in regard to power and authority.

In the second paragraph I made two statements about power and force, each of which is generally accepted as valid. In the third sentence I stated the core idea of the discussion, in question form, which is "..., how is one authorized to use force (power) and under what circumstances?"

The remaining paragraphs are simply a discussion of various aspects of authority.

If...you owned an automobile with a powerful engine, that engine could not exhibit power (cause something to move) unless you authorized it to do so. That authorization would be to press the accelerator. You have authorized power (force) to perform.

Another...person can also press the accelerator and cause that engine to exhibit power. However, if that other person does not have your permission to authorize your engine to exhibit power, then that person is operating with unlawful or inferior authority. There can be consequences. Even severe consequences.

As I see it, all power in existence has had claim laid upon it in some way, shape or form. The stuff just doesn't lay around without getting picked up.

If one accelerates your automobile -with- your permission, then that one is operating -under- delegated authority, but you still have lawful claim and control of that power (engine).

If one accelerates your automobile -without- your permission, then that one is operating -by- (relative) inherent personal authority and may or may not be able to handle the consequences, because you still have lawful claim and control of that power (engine).

As I see it there is enough power in existence to meet any and all needs both good and evil.

And so the question becomes how does one -get- lawful authority to use power and in what ways may one use it?

As I see it, having power is nothing, whereas having proper authority to direct power is extremely important.

The improper use of power can cause strategies and tactics to fail and battles to be lost that need not be lost.

So, what I' trying to express here is that power is so often spoken lightly of when it is actually a very serious subject.

Whatcha think?
Authority, in this case IMO, is the knowledge of how to tap into the power lawfully

An interesting definition of matrix is "a breeding animal; mother", and that is what the matrix of this earth is. A mother. We are not born into the matrix, but rather we are born -of- the matrix. This time / space construct is the womb of our conception and development so that we may be birthed into greater realities. It is here, in the the matrix, the womb, that we become aware of all things. It is here that we learn to see and to hear, and to walk and to run. It is here that we learn to play games. In learning to play games we experience love and hate, good and evil, courage and fear, compassion and cruelty, intelligence and stupidity, victory and defeat and much, much more. It is here, in the matrix, that we attain a full knowledge and awareness of just how grand we truly are. The matrix is not evil, it is our mother and that deep knowledge has been hidden from us for a very good reason that we might cast about in -all- directions and learn who and what we are. Before we leave here each of us will have done and been all things. We will come to appreciate all things. And then we will have and raise our own children. Each of us is a matrix coming to fruition.

As we grow in the womb, the matrix, we come to know that there are things that are meant to be. Learning experiences for ourselves and others. We come to -know- what things we can change by directing power. We learn the proper assumption and use of authority so that we do no harm to ourselves or others.

And, the matrix of this earth is but part of a greater matrix.

As to "...Is it science or belief that runs this world...?". I would say neither. They are simply lessons of the womb. They are teaching aides. They are made to be outgrown.

I have enjoyed our conversations thus far.
"Plastic... : ( We rape our mother matrix in an attempt ..."

I find it interesting that you view the matrix as mother. I hold a similar view that the matrix is a good mother.

May I ask how you arrived at that viewpoint?
"...this is a game we created." "...we wanted to experience this."

Can't get much closer to the bone than that:-)
Force is mass X acceleration. The faster you can accelerate a certain mass, the more force you can generate. If that mass is relatively small and you can accelerate it really quickly (splitting an atom for example), you can potentially create more force than a very large mass that accelerates slowly (pushing a vehicle into a wall).

Power is is Work divided by time. If you can get more work done in less time you have more power, essentially.

Therefore Force and Power are not exclusively related, unless you add time.

Differentiating by time makes instantaneous power equal to the force X the object's velocity v(t):

P(t) = F(t) x V(t)

So time and space seem to be the variables that cause power and force to interact.
"...its the men who have the most of it that rule our countries and our world."

Those who rule do so by authority. They do not use power in and of themselves. They don't need it. They authorize (command) military and terrorists (power) to act with force.

I have to differ with you on the money part. It's greed and need. It's the love of money or the need of money. Without need and greed the bad guys couldn't hire power. Sex and drugs and fame will often buy more than money.
