On the emotion of Discomfort specifically.


Do you personally:

Exist in the discomfort till you can transmute it/learn the lesson

Moving through it as quickly as possible to a usable solution

yes, discomfort is something i deal with on a daily basis and try to learn and transmute the energy. I feel like the more i try my best, the less regrets i will have. 

I will give a personal example which happened to me in the last few days. I finally got the courage to ask this girl out, and it seemed like she was happy and she said yes, she was down. Then the next day i get a text from her, that she thought it wasnt for the best. I tried to laugh it off and said ok. But the whole day i went through the emotions of anger and sadness. this morning my neck was sore from sleeping funny and it felt like there was something stuck in the corner of my eye and i just felt this emptiness and apathy. But ive gone through these kind of feelings before so i know movement is key. So i went to the basement with my laptop and played a  special song( sri arunachala aksharamanamalai) and i noticed that the song was 23 minutes and i started playing it at 8:37 this morning. So i felt kinda good cuz of that lil bit of synchronicity. And I was able to start my deep breathing again. and also as i was reading this post and thought about what i was going to write i felt a shudder up my spine and neck started to feel better. so thank you for allowing me to get that stuff off my chest, and ground my energy a bit more. 

and my advice to myself and to others with dealing with discomfort is that the more you can cultivate your chi, or work with your kundalini so to speak the better.

Amazing as usual Tyrone :), thank you for sharing. I am happy that the energy moved through the action you created, and even more so that you sensed it move!

What have you personally been doing to cultivate chi that has allowed you to reach that sensitivity, and more importantly move it at will. If I hold my energy reasonably well during the day, getting plenty of meditation in, I'll usually have a high amount in the brow chakra, needing to move down, (or to the crown), any tips?

Like tonight I have a high energy point in the third eye, with strands leading up towards the brow, like a heavy weight, with some stretching to the nose and a little to the back of the head, not usually sensitive at the back of the head, but I've held my energy well today. If I have a low energy day with many distractions, the sensitivity will move to the nose region more, or it'll get a bit toxic and cause a mild burning sensation by nightfall (for want of a better word, not burning but burnt out is a better description).

*For me transmuting negativity quickly is the key to it never being an issue again.

I realise this takes us off topic slightly, so anyone's recommendations on discomfort still very welcome, many thanks! When discomfort comes I have decided to fire off excitement these days :D.

well i think we just have to build our foundation from the basics. Having a good diet and drinking more water will help a tonne. And i'm not sure that i can move the energy at will so to speak, but i am more aware of when i'm out of balance, what may have caused the unbalance and then what may help to restore the balance and move forward. 

oh i also forgot to mention that understanding psychology, philosophy and history are good aides for understanding yourself and help with dealing with the different situations that happen in life. i think it's good to diversify your learning resources. Or you could focus on one particular teaching and try to master it. But I found it more intuitive to learn as much as you can from as many different things that you resonate with. 

If you can remove negativity from something or how you feel, you can in the least least unblock the energy for it to move freely, the caretaker of the planet, only this time your planet ;). I realised this when running, how hard it was for me to get back into the routine, how solid and dense the negativity in the root (legs) is to get going, moving it out of the way. But we are moving it out of the way, the natural state I suppose is for the energy to move anyway, so really its just undamning the river and letting life do the rest.
